This is a log of changes and updates to the web site listed in descending order from newest to oldest.  This site is very much a Work in Progress and my work on it is ever on-going though updates may be slow.

However, behind the scenes, a huge effort to update the site began...

No new site in sight

In 2017 I continued my work to re-design the site and take it from a disorganized mess to something a bit easier to navigate and to bring its look up to something a bit more pleasing and a lot less Pre-Cambrian in appearance.

 

This was no easy task for me as I am not a designer in any real sense, but I finally arrived at a look and organization that I was pleased with (even if no one else likes it!).

 

Now all I had to do was make it work, and that would prove to be far more difficult as I fought with browser compatibility issues and the dreaded and despised Internet Explorer.

 

The planned rollout of the new design had once been set for Jan. 1, 2016. A countdown timer and a colorful, animated splash page heralded the approach of something, but when the day came, the code wasn't ready.

 

When it became clear the update wouldn't make the 2017 deadline, the new plan was to roll it out when it was ready-- surely by Jan. 1, 2018 at the latest...

 

Nope...
