Titan I Blueprints

About the Blueprints

Here you will find, at long last, a repository of blueprints for the Titan I sites grouped by squadron. They will vary by grouping with the squadrons, owing to their respective naming conventions as laid out in each squadron's set of drawings.

Alas, not all squadrons are currently represented, as for some, no drawings have come to light. I remain hopeful this will change over time! Additionally, not all drawings will be posted right away as there's a lot of work needed to prepare them, but I will add them as they are completed.

Some Aknowledgements

Many of these drawings come directly from the archives of the late Fred Epler, missile historian, friend and aerospace enthusiast. I say this often because it is simple fact, and much of this site would be greatly diminished without his efforts, assistance and inspiration. Anyone who is interested in these blueprints or finds them useful in some way, owes a great debt of thanks to Fred.

Like Fred, the work of many others can be credited with doing so much to preserve history, and recently, the work of two other historians has ultimately made this page possible: Silo Man of www.siloworld.net, and Dave, site owner of www.allthingsatlas.com. Many thanks are owed to them indeed.

I hope readers will find this to be as valuable and fascinating a trove as I certainly do, and that it will lend itself to be an invaluable source of information to other historians, writers and Missile Heads like myself!
