Construction at Beale 851-A, surface, launcher #1. This jig was fabricated to allow for weighing of the 2 enormous counterweights for the missile launcher elevator system. Each bracket will be fitted with 1 of 4 load cells to weigh the 2 huge, lead counterweights to be installed at each launcher. Taken: June 13, 1961 Source: The Martin Co.
