Scale model of the the launcher silo showing the launcher elevator system and supporting cribwork which comprised a large portion of American Machine & Foundry's contribution to the Titan I Weapon System. Location appears to be a hangar so it could be either a Lowry AFB location or perhaps at Beale AFB. It is not clear if the event is a Martin Co. event or one sponsored by the Air Force or another military contractor. Other contractor exhibits can be seen in the background such as Martin Co. and Pacific Telephone. Any information about this event or its location would be greatly appreciated. Please contact me at chromehooves@hotmail.com if you have any information about this photo. Taken: Unknown Source: Unknown - titan group043-1

VIPs from AMF and possibly Paul Hardin Construction posing next to field vehicles at Buckley Field. The names on their hard hats are difficult to discern but appear to be, from left to right: F. R. or T. R. Dreyer or Breyer (whom I believe was with AMF), Carter L. Burgess of AMF (who was president of the company, however it is not clear what his position was at the time of this photo), and Gen. G? Atchell or Hatchell perhaps. I cannot reliably say. Additional information is needed to accurately caption this photo. If you have any information on this photo or the people in it, please contact me at chromehooves@hotmail.com. Taken: June 8, 1961.
