Construction at Beale 851-A, silo #1, showing workers at a depth of about 50 feet. Their trade is uncertain, but it appears they may be carpenters installing wooden scaffolding near the future location of the counterweight guide rails. One worker is seated atop the 2nd stage LOX line which leads left to the LOX crib structure. Taken: May 29, 1961. Source: Martin Co.
