Unknown squadron, site and launcher undergoing salvage operations. Presumed to be taken in the early 1970's, this photo shows the view from inside face C of the cribwork looking up toward the bottom of the launcher platform at the idler pulleys and enormous wire ropes that raised and lowered the missile. Elevator umbilical loop cabling on face A is visible in the background extending down into the silo. Please contact me at chromehooves@hotmail.com if you have any information on this photo. Any help identifying this or any other photos in the archive is greatly appreciated. Taken: Unknown-- probably late 1960's to early 1970's.
